Here's a concept that pops to mind every now and then. like a Double Dragon or Streets of Rage game where you fight gang members, with a simple story, but as an FPS, and also in that retro 80s area. I would also play an old-school style FPS with a beat'em'up-like setting. I also like games where you control a destructive monster, like the recently released Carrion, the Rampage series, The Dweller etc. But I would want a game like The Settlers with those kind of creatures, could be more exotic races playable as well, I guess. Have you played The Deadly Tower of Monsters? Doesn't have Universal style monsters (I think) but it goes in that pulpy direction.Īnyway, what I want to see is more games with anthropomorphic mushrooms, like in the mushroom men games that already exist and Dark Souls. I just can't believe that Universal hasn't commissioned games with those properties. Maybe the console VAN HELSING game?Īnyway, I would love to see a Universal monsters game. but - other than a few virtual pinball games - no real use of the classic Universal monsters. Sure, there are some point-and-click Frankenstein games and some modern takes on vampires, werewolves, etc. and they go me to searching for games based on even earlier monsters like the classic Universal monsters (Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, Gillman, etc.).

There's even a crafting system, and you will be building all sorts of rockets and space stations - it's got a small bit of everything it appears. You deal with industry, policies, taxes and trade as well. Not only is it a galaxy-spanning exploration city-builder, there's also elements of a management game here too.
